A pulpit was placed in the Prophet's mosque for Hassan, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed that the Holy Spirit support him as long as he defended the faith with verse. His lines are the earliest surviving praise of the Prophet composed by one who saw his face.
وَأَحْسَنُ مِنْكَ لَمْ تَرَ قَطُّ عَيْنِي * وَأَجْمَلُ مِنْكَ لَمْ تَلِدِ النِّسَاءُ
Wa aḥsanu minka lam tara qaṭṭu 'aynī...
My eye has never seen one finer than you, and no woman has given birth to one more beautiful than you.
